APSA NSA and Government Workshop

APSA successfully brought together national seed associations (NSAs) and government officials in 30-31 July in Bangkok Thailand for the “Forging Stronger Relations among National Governments and the Private Sector in the Region’s Seed Industry” workshop.

The workshop was divided into 2 sessions:

1. The Plant Quarantine Session

2. The Plant Variety Protection Session

Consortium to Develop SSR Marker Set for Marker-assisted Breeding in Tomato

APSA will be embarking on a fresh partnership with AVRDC and this time, the objective is to develop SSR Marker for marker-assisted tomato breeding.

In this regard APSA is inviting member companies to take part in this effort to form a consortium. Like APSA’s previous programs, members of the consortium will have lesser contribution if there would be more members who will participate in this core funding project. Read more and participate
