CLOSING OF EXHIBITION AND TRADING AREAS FOR THE INAUGURAL CEREMONY

TO: ALL DELEGATES OF ASIAN SEED CONGRESS 2009

Please be informed that Exhibition Area and Trading Rooms (both reserved and unreserved) and Hallways at the Asian Seed Congress venue will all be closed starting at 14.00 hrs. on Monday, 9 November for the Inaugural Ceremony.

The Thai Royal Princess, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, will be gracing this ceremony and special protocols are requested to be observed.

Members of the Thai Royal Family are highly-respected and revered in Thailand. Guests of Thailand are also requested to observe proper local decorum when a member of the Royal Family is invited.

ALL DELEGATES ARE REQUESTED TO NOTE THE FOLLOWING:

The Royal Thai Guards will be enforcing strict security before the arrival and during the stay of the Princess for the Opening Ceremony.
  • Delegates will not be allowed at the hallways during the Ceremony.

  • Delegates will be ushered into the Inauguration Hall starting at 14.00 hrs for the ceremony. All business areas will be closed.

  • Nobody will be allowed to walk in and out of the Inauguration Hall once the Princess has been seated onstage. Once the program starts, the Hall will be closed.

  • NO CAMERAS ARE ALLOWED TO BE USED. The event will have registered photographers who are allowed to take some photos.

  • Thailand Seed Industry Report will immediately follow when the Princess leaves the Hall and starts her visit of the Exhibition Area. Delegates are expected to remain inside the Hall and only exhibitors will be allowed at the Exhibition Area. The Trading Area will remain closed.

  • The Congress areas will be opened to everyone again once the Princess leaves the venue.
