What is APSA?
The Asia and Pacific Seed Association (APSA), a derivative of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, was established in 1994 with the aim of promoting quality seed production and marketing in the Asia and Pacific Region. Today, APSA is the largest regional seed association in the world. It has strong links with international organizations such as FAO, CGIAR institutions, ISF, ISTA, UPOV, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the World Trade Organization, among others. APSA members include national seed associations, government agencies, public and private seed companies, and associate members. |
