KUALA LUMPUR: APSA’s Standing Committee for Seed Technology will hold a 90-minute paneled session on November 26 to discuss the impact of seed technology on the bottom line for seed companies.
The session to be moderated by SC Seed Technology Chair, Johan van Asbrouck, and co-chair, Dr Manish Patel, will be held from 11.15am to 12:45pm in the Extension Hall 7A on the third floor of the Congress venue.
Seed cleaning, treatments, upgrading, pelleting, priming, optical sorting – such disruptive technologies have proved a blessing for managers of many seed companies.
“Everyone knows the idiom ‘missing the train’,” said van Asbrouck, “but just as bad could be ‘taking the wrong train’.
Asbrouck, who is managing director Rhino Research, will moderate the session, which will be joined by three seed tech savvy panelists:
